Harbour shootout ends in tragedy: one dead

According to the secretariat of the metropolitan police, one unidentified man was murdered in last night in the royal harbour of Maputo, Mocambique. Sources say that the man had withdrawn a large sum of foreign currency from a Swiss bank account just before he left for the harbour.

Honourable judge Rasalinghe Lilidingwah, 64, at the Maputo magistrates court said that there are suspicions a terrible crime has been committed. Upon being inquired from this newspaper's reporter, R Lilidingwah responded, that the police force is investigating the case at the moment.
Lilidingwah added that the money was taken from the victim, presumably by the offenders.
Neighbours to the area, reported hearing gunshots late Wednesday night along with screams sounding like a man's voice desperately pleading for his own life; ”No Bento, no!”.
The police is now interviewing the owner of a local Japanese fishmarket nearby.
